Hopefully.
737, 777, 787, Boeing, DOJ and FAA should be canceled.
We have the best regulators money can buy, that's how!!!
Same goes for the 777x as the FAA is withholding TIA until many IOUs are completed.
The 777x is also via an amended type cert based on the original 777, except it is nothing like the 777. Not the cockpit, avionics, wings, fuselage, engines.
So how did we get the FAA to agree the 777x is an amended 777? $$$$$$
Looks like the payoffs are happening...

No, Boeing no longer has the right stuff to accomplish a minor airplane mod like 737Max or 777X much less accomplish an entirely new airplane development. But that won't stop Boeing executives from announcing a new airplane development. They know that they will get their severance packages and be long time by the time the project fails again or before the company officially declares bankruptcy.
Instead of doing a middle of the market aircraft the priority needs to be a 737 replacement. First the 737 airplane was originally designed in the 1960s and secondly the damage to the safety record is irreversible Because of the max.
was planning to have the majority of it designed in Moscow with their low paid workforce but after being forced to close because of sanctions to close not sure Boeing even has the expertise certainly not the financials to finance a new aircraft program. Would not be surprised if they don’t go to the government asking for a bail out to design a new aircraft.
That would be a good question to ask the psychic reader as she looks into crystal ball to foresee Boeings future.
Well yeah... Boeing and their 737 airlines have allegedly been paying off the necessary people for these safety exemptions for at least 30 years. This could somewhat be justified in the past because the 737 had an OK safety record back then when Boeing had ethical and competent engineering and manufacturing capabilities. But those days are long gone.
The FAA recently advised Boeing that the 737Max-10 wouldn't be certified by the deadline their most recent safety exemption expires. I expect there will just be more payoffs and the deadline will be again extended.
The Boeing airplane backlog, which is about half of the Airbus airplane backlog, is about 85% 737Maxs. There are airlines heavily invested in 737s. This seems like some high risk Russian Roulette and Dominos game to me. Glad I don’t have any vested interest in the outcome.
