All Boeing airplanes are now known by this name.
DOD should have been allowed to stay with their original Airbus tanker selection. This would have created more American jobs and the USAF would have a more modern tanker that would have been operational many years ago. And Boeing wouldn't still be losing money on this failed project with no believable operational date in sight. Only the Boeing executives were winners by getting big bonuses and severance packages. Wish we could better control how our tax money is corrupted and wasted.
They should’ve used the 787 as a model for the tanker conversion. Even if they delivered it later than the military needed. The drawings and cad models were so old they wasted countless hours trying to update them.

Boeing's core competency is corruption. They recently paid off DOD to prevent Airbus from building replacement tankers in Alabama. They paid off DOJ to keep their executives from getting prosecuted for 737Max homicides.
