Biggest problem? I'd say too high of a percentage of people putting themselves first instead of the customers and company. I thing Aviation and Healthcare find success despite GE's overall decline by ferociously batting away such people from outside of their businesses.
@7jpy+1g3YswpI, had you considered you are wrong? hugs and kisses to you.
Try resolving a Union issue from within. You’ll be met with the same crony cr-p that’s been going on for years. Best resolution is a stiff left hook to settle it and another one for the goon a from the Union that wants you to “play nice”!
snitches that choose not to resolve union matters from within
The biggest problem let’s see for starters the split pay scale system, lowered the standard to get more unskilled workers in the plant so it will all fail
At one time, GE ran 13 individual divisions. Now it can run 3. What a Disgrace!
Larry Culp. Any other questions?

Biggest problem, the Union's ex-Asst Business Manager, just trying to stir up matters. This is how little and unimportant "men" play.
After the planned splits. there will be multiple "our"s - each with their own issues. Some formerly part of "our" will be out of work, others will start new chapters in their new, hopefully thriving and healthy orgs.
Child I really do hate to burst your bubble but the Union is the company in the G.E. system.
Loss of trust in the Union doesn’t help. I’d rather trust the company-at least I do what’s expected of me on my job.
I want to see ge fail
Division. The loss of trust within any company is always the Achilles heal. To get to this point it takes decades of mismanagement . It is very unsettling but I believe we have a very long recovery ahead for G.E. Is it going to be easy? No. How it can be achieved is beyond my professional skill set.
