Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Recognize your loyal employees!!!

I quit Sabre early this year. I have been working at Sabre for more than 15 years. I really loved working here and the people here. I even put up with several layoffs, past 2 years of pandemic, over worked , taking up additional responsibilities during furlough, employee shortage, round the clock production support. It was a very thin team, where there was only one person in each group. If asked recognition for the work being done by us , the response was nay. Lots of excuses, while managers, senior managers, directors were promoted.I wonder how mid year cycle promotions work for them. VERY BIASED. It was as if all the work done all these years was down the drain. If no budget to recognize people in Dfw, then don’t give additional responsibilities to DFW folks, give it to oFfshore. DFW has to bear the brunt since domain knowledge is here.

Flexibility in KRK with Polish work rule laws. Are you kidding me? I was once told sorry but the law only allows us to work 8 hours per day while the DFW and BLR teams worked their rears off.

Domain knowledge has been already transferred a lot. Mostly to Krk. Luckily less to BLR.
Unfortunately a lot of DFW folks don't keep up the pace from other locations. Domain is not everything and flexibility is valued.
