Oh it’s getting close to the midterm elections. You’ll start seeing a lot of huffing and puffing in Washington DC about what both parties are or are not going to do about the Class 1 railroads. They put on a good show for us all and in the end nothing much changes for the working men and women of the railroads. They are two sides of the same coin. They both laugh all the way to the bank.
I agree w/ foxtrot juliet bravo’s posts. But in this instance all we can do is stand back & let the progressive D’s handle this. Its the perfect opportunity for the left to prove themselves. Woke CEO, lifetime career politician prez, & dem controlled congress. Unions told us to vote D, they got what they say they need. No R’s nor conservatives to blame for us NOT getting the contract of a lifetime.
It was a judge in Texas that ruled it a “minor” dispute. Go to the SMART union page and listen to the podcast. sigh your exhausting….
Doesn’t matter your political affiliation! You think trump, Biden or any other politician will make class 1 railroads contract better? Are jobs are all tied in to hedge funds which PSR is all about, so don’t think for 1 minute a politician’s affiliation will put more money in your pocket! Health care premiums will absorb any raises you will get, especially when you get 3% and 2% increments over 3 years! Cheap baastards won’t even give us back pay!
Federal judge Mark t Pittman was appointed by trump.
“ The Transportation Department, however, has declined to intervene in the dispute”

No fan of Joe at all and I DO feel there are going to be a lot of disappointed folks with regards to the eventual contract, BUT I can find NO "labor board" ruling on this, infact the unions only said last week that they were pursing arbitration. I've never seen a ruling in less than a week.
IF it in fact exists, cite it.
Could you please cite the labor board ruling in question? All I can find is the JUDGE'S ruling calling it a "minor dispute" and the unions saying they were going to seek arbitration via the RLA.
Well if I’m not mistaken there are several former Blackrock executives serving in the Biden administration. You know the ones behind PSR. I’m sure old average Joe can’t be bought off or influenced by their presence.lol Google it!
When did this happen?
The unions are spineless there just there to collect dues every month.
Sweet it’s going to be a lot easier for guys to quit if the contract is garbage. Just wait till they start messing around with railroad retirement. Y’all know that’s coming. If I’m going to work a miserable job it’s going to be regular hours with weekends off.
