Thread regarding American Airlines Group Inc. layoffs

New CEO

Robert Isom’s plan as he takes over as chief executive at American Airlines is simple: “Run a reliable operation” and “return to profitability.”

I am not very optimistic that any big changes for the better will happen. I wish I wasn't right. Perhaps AA will soon be able to return to profit?

Too many times, employees rely on leaders to be the change they hope to see. Leaders are in their position for a reason. To steer the ship. Employees too can be change leaders, by being the change they'd hope to see, largely influencing the culture of the company. A good leader works for the benefit of his employees, and good employees work for the benefit of the leader. Be as one.
