Changing one master for another.. simpletons never learn.. lol
Your backhanded assertion that unions don't care about workers and are only after dues, defies logic. Unions gave us the 'American life'-- the 8 hour work day, workplace safety, workday breaks, weekends off, minimum wage, overtime pay, sick leave, paid vacation, secure retirement, child labor laws, etc -- and, are currently the only countervailing force to corporate control of our economy and political system.
Thank goodness an increasing number of today's workers are "woke" again, as we repeat the Roaring Twenties.
And unions, like other institutions, aren't perfect. If they need to be more responsive to members, that's a two way street, meaning members need to step up and lead instead of just complain (like you) or exhibit apathy. That's why I have repeatedly served in office in my union.
Enjoy your monthly dues.
The younger generation is slowly realizing that unionization matters Organized labor is the only way equity and safety in the workplace can be achieved.
