Intel is late to respond to a demand spike that has already happened. The best thing intel can do right now is stay lean, and push hard on innovation. The United States is looking at a recession in the near future and Intel is running a very aggressive expansion campaign as well as facing market share loss to growing competitors . The future for Intel could be very troublesome. I think layoffs are going to be incredibly extensive and far reaching in the coming years possibly even months.
