If times are so tough, then I propose instead of laying off hard-working employees, we cut pay and bonuses for executives, starting with Randy. We don't have to be the ones who always have to sacrifice when the going gets tough. Not that I expect something like that would ever happen, of course.

Come on guys Randy suffers enough. He is the one that has to make all of the hard decisions for HyVee. It’s not easy for him to just to layoffs people and for the media to attach him. It’s not his fault HyVee keeps failing him. You guys need to find a way to make Randy’s idea profitable. You guys think he would take a year of zero salary to help HyVee?
