It's not as we didn't see it coming. I'm just surprised it took them this long since the acquisition to start with layoffs. I honestly thought half of us would be gone by now. On that note, please don't think the 170 people are it. This is only the opening shot, we'll be looking at many more layoffs in the near future.

Yep. Redundancies happen in acquisitions. It is what it is. Everyone needs to look at their own role and decide for themselves, but any time I'm on the 'acquired' side of this equation, I brush up my resume and start the hunt.
