After almost six years here, I've seen a lot and became sick and tired of this company. Communication with employees has always been poor and I do not believe that anything will change except for the worse. I watch my coworkers leaving and not being picky at all when it comes to accepting a new job, just to get out of here as soon as possible. That sums up the atmosphere here.

Having had worked at HST - it is run like a circus… no reasonable goals or vision for IT other than let’s compete with Amazon . Absolutely no attainable vision or forward path . They even considered changing the fuel safer program during COVID - just because the wind was blowing differently.
I don't disagree with your sentiment but taking the first offer might not be smart, brake your time and find the right fit.
