I know it’s taboo to mention any of our past with our current regime. But we brush over so much of our history when we proudly mention Carrie Neiman and then no other female leaders. There were many people in between and I want to take the end of this month to say thank you to the women who are no longer here but who inspired me - Karen K., Lisa, Melissa, Neva, Ann, Michelle, Amber and Tracy. All senior leaders - some are retired now and some had to find work elsewhere. But they all were role models and cleared the path that many of us enjoy today. And someday I hope to have their courage and mention it somewhere other than here.

I get the comments on Karen, Neva and Lisa. But losing Michelle and Melissa hurt our team.
Let’s be honest. Lisa was an awful human being. I’m still not sure what Neva actually contributed.
GVR was here for more than two years before the bankruptcy so he’s not clean on this either. But neither Karen nor GVR had much of a chance with the debt load. Say what you want about either of them but too easy to blame Karen or GVR without mentioning the role of PE.
Agree with last comment. NM was profitable, prestigious and proud for over a century until Karen took over and ran the place into bankruptcy. Will take decades to recover from her short reign as our leader. Thousands of retirees and vendors lost millions of $$$ due to NM bankruptcy. NM still has not settled unsecured bankruptcy claims just keeps asking bankruptcy judge to keep extending the deadline to settle.
Nobody had more class acction lawsuits than incompetent Katz ... This post gotta be a joke...
