Don't you know the Broadcom model? Employees are the biggest expense. It's cheaper to replace them all every few years or outsource to HCL so they don't pay out the highest bonuses and equity. This place acquires failing companies, gets rid of most staff, the completely jacks up prices until customers cannot stand it anymore, and they sell off the scraps.
Then they do it again! Rinse and repeat! Look at the threads of any company acquired by them. SAS was smart to walk away. Who knows the next big acquisition with all this cash.
They will disregard everything and everyone once your business is no longer profitable. They have grown so large they can do it indefinitely. They will keep doing it. Broadcom is where careers go to die. If you are in the club at the top you will become more rich than you can imagine.
Any talk of innovation and cutting edge tech is laughable! A joke!! The constant bs coming out of the software group makes me vomit. All the WE MUST HIRE MORE initiatives are just as bad. No one wants to work here and managers are forced to find people to fill the gaps from all the attrition! The only happy people are the ones who will get a year or 2 more RSUs before they retire in their 70s.
If you have any desire to move up in your career then you have to leave! This company acts like it does you a favor by keeping your job.
The software groups keep investing in new bs when all daddy Hock wants is bug fixes and bigger renewal contracts on moldy technology. How much longer can they keep the charade going? Wait until late 2023 when even precious mainframe will cut lots of fat. No one seems to get this.
Broadcom could not care less about its employees or customers. So many got out and others trying to get out and the only response from leadership is HIRE HIRE HIRE and LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YOOOOUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
