"Young people don’t want to work for organizations that only empower tired old white men who have a narrow and redundant world view."
That's a good choice to make.
"Things that matter to millennials and Gen Z: Climate change , environmental stewardship, diversity and inclusion, ethical business practices."
You act like people weren't marching for a lot of these same things 50 years ago. But pretending "the man" is a new idea is kind of silly. You don't call them "squares" but it's all the same.
"So yes , step aside boomer, we are not one trick ponies that you are so used to being."
Evidence that you have one trick would be nice. :) I was born 20 years too late to be called a boomer.
In all seriousness, I didn't come from wealth. When I was a kid, my dad cut hair, my mom worked at the post office, and we lived in a trailer. They were boomers. My father became a heavy equipment mechanic, my mom a general manager, and they retired comfortably.
So yeah. When I hear somebody complaining loudly that their relatively cushy job is somehow a disservice to them, I can't help but think less of them.
You are not the downtrodden, abused masses. Step out of your bubbles.
