Thread regarding Occidental Petroleum Corp. layoffs

Predicting the future after RTO

Once the workforce is back to the office they will redesign the organizations which may result in both layoffs and filling the open positions.

I hope that it will not happen, but I see that there are those who think that the RTO will be followed by changes and layoffs (specifically, @1nex+1froxZ1R ). I wonder what others think?

I agree 100% with the poster below. Besides, by the time we are thinking about an issue, management has already discussed it and decided on a path forward. The decisions made are normally ones that no one could’ve predicted. At least that’s my experience.

I doubt it with the way oil is trending. Enough people will probably leave on their own now that bonuses are paid out. I’ve learned to not worry about these things as you have no control over it.
