Thread regarding Adidas layoffs

adidas - war in Ukraine

Really sad to see how adidas (yet again) puts bottom line and incomes over humanity and what is right (remember retail rent payments during Corona beginnings or massive layoffs afterwards)
It is the only company that has not condemned, nor released any statement condemning what is happening in Ukraine or at least releasing a statement of support. You can see individuals from adidas doing so, but not adidas.
All the major sports gear players have stepper forward so far.
But adidas is focusing on Wonderbra topics and earnings from CIS.

  1. should be ashamed of himself.

I am sure that you know that after the s### storm Scrooge got, even being openly attacked on Yammer, he decided to change his stance. But he had no intention to stop the business in Russia, until the other big and small players on the market have already announced that they stopped doing business in Russia.
Are you in the influencer squad? I guess so.

What?? We’ve suspended the relationship with the Russian Football Federation, and paused all business… while continuing to pay employees.

Not sure what you’re talking about.

adidas is again on the wrong side of history, it wouldn't be the first time : https://constantinereport.com/na-i-origins-of-adidas-and-puma-tennis-shoes-4/
For those missing the heat that Scrooge McDuck is getting, have a look on the intranet. He decided to donate one time off his daily allowance to Ukraine. No other statement.
