Clearly Apollo are selling up so who will be buying and what does that mean for those of us who are working here still?

Well, that is what Apollo does. They are investors only, their concern about any specific product only goes as far as they can see return on investments.
It is unfortunate for those caught in the churn but a risk that Apollo takes and reaps the rewards, if any.
I did my research on Apollo when they first bought West in Fall 2017. They typically hold on to a company for about 5-7 years then break it apart and sell it for a profit.
For those who aren’t good at Math, guess how long.
What will happen to the people in West Point, GA left who support traditional conferencing? Will they transition to PGI or be laid off?
Only the conferencing side. What about the EC side ?
