Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

What is the attrition of our competitors?

I mean, no one can know for sure, but I guess none of the companies that are our direct competitors have a bigger attrition than Citrix.

My colleagues who haven't left yet will leave very soon. Leadership unfortunately is turning this into a company without talent and good employees.

A new survey of U.S. professionals found that for recent job-hoppers, pay bumps of 30% were even more common than those making 10% to 20% more in their new jobs -- source https://example.com/3M8aEBb

According to tech industry recruiters, the increased attrition in 2022 will be aligned with the most highly-skilled employees. Meaning, the talent with the most desirable and marketable skills tend to leave for higher pay, while the less skilled tend to stay put. Historically, this is often the norm, but more pervasive over the last two years.

A typical increase is +23% in base pay. Other compensation can vary significantly, based on the job role and size of the employer, etc.

On a recent all hands call HR said our attrition rate was 14+%, up from 7%+ a year before.......interesting.......the rationale from HR was that all attrition was up across all of the industry during the pandemic but the average in that sector was 12% so they clearly justified the fact that 2X as many employees voluntarily decided to leave, does not take into account the 1000 employees that lost their jobs late in 2021. Wait for the IQ tests to land and see what happens post acquisition
