so if you was head of security and then they put you in a AP/Ops role and now Ops/Vs and now your back to "Captain " of security you just have been promoted and demoted within 2 years My thought is the next step is either a set up to get you gone or your going to be laid off in a year

I dont believe the OP is being truthful. This didn't happen.
If you were OVM, you cannot just be moved to an hourly captain position. That is a demotion, and you are old and explanation as to why this was done to you. I would open a case with SIS immediately. You would have had to have been on some type of performance counseling for this to even have been considered.
Retail pays the lowest of any job, you can make more putting frozen burgers in one of those rolling ovens things at Burger King.
