Major review of all expenses and expenditure, next there will be a major uplift in auditing of customers and all processes associated. Then they will really identify the useless and incompetent people in the business units ...... rollout the red carpet in the exit lounge for those spreadsheet jockeys and customer facing management who never actually met with a customer.
An unceremonious boot.. If that's what they are doing to the buddy of Calderoni, imagine what they will do to the rest. Probably the V-E gods did not need him around... and the Wrike noose was still hanging on his neck. Ultimately, they don't need a full-time CFO- Tibco already has one so why spend so much on Arlen when a cheaper Jason will do...
Who is next: Minahan, then Kimmel. They will need Joe Kim for a while and Hector/ Schmitz to keep sales afloat until the close. After close, look for more heads rolling.
Of all the people in the list above, Hector is the most capable and one that rose through the ranks with earned recognition. Too bad he is going to be singed through the process. His buddy and neighborTom E could not survive in the real-world... Hector will also have a hard time.
I’d think Tibco would install their own cfo to cut Citrix down to the core. They’d have no attachment to the place except to make themselves rich with PRSUs.
Well, the old CFO - former SAP -- got his payout so it was time for the chairman to enrich one of his other friends.
