Inculcation

How will the new inculcations go? With all this planned inculcating I can't wait to see what the future inculcates. We should all be inculcating the seeing speaking and listenings to comprehend the inculcating. I might inculcate these inculcations at home too so I will be the ultimate inculcator.

Clueless is the right word! I can't remember when I had a boss who knew anything about what we do. All they do is manage the budget they get each year, which always keeps decreasing. No one cares about what we do, why we do it, or how we do it. Just endless management buzzwords and vague talk that doesn't help. Depressing and frustrating place to work.

All I can say is that if I still worked at Boeing, I would be too disgusted and depressed to make jokes. There would be no way I could motivate myself to work for that company anymore.

Once the Affirmative Actions hires got to the top of Boeing it is now more important to inculcate the "Seek, Speak, Listen" (SSL) program to ensure more unqualified Affirmative Action hires happen. Boeing even stated that white people should give up their jobs to Affirmative Action hires when they tried the "Give up your privilege to others" racist program. That got pushback, so Boeing went with SSL instead.

Boeing hired a Diversity Officer, and that black woman said every team at Boeing must have a black person on it or else it is racist and unethical.

I am sure most folks commenting here don't currently work at Boeing. But they clearly worked at Boeing in past and it sounds like they are extremely happy not to be working at Boeing now. Plus, anyone currently working at Boeing would be too fearful to say anything negative about Boeing. But who really cares what you think or what Boeing does anymore? Boeing is quickly becoming irrelevant and good luck if you depend on working at Boeing.

After reading the response comments here, I am now 100% sure most of the posters here DO NOT work at Boeing.

If they did, they would have understood the Inculcate joke.

You have been busted, now go back to your mom's basement.

And be sure to check the credentials of a newly hired 737 avionics Mgr, zero engineering! Was this new hire vetted to make sure he won’t excel past his upper management? Or being set up to fail?

Is this idea more inline with the Chinese reeducation commitment?

FAA released a 737 airworthiness directive today about the potential for accidents because of cell 5G interference with 737 radar altitude when landing. Is it me or does this sound like the 737Max fiasco all over again. Instead of just grounding and fixing the airplane, put the responsibility for safety on the airline, and then blame the airline and their pilots after the accident occurs. Truly incredible.

Yup, had a similar experience at Boeing. Funny.

The brain drain started in mid 90s with voluntary layoff offered. But the brain drain continued over the years even without voluntary layoffs being offered by the still remaining good managers helping their best people who wanted to leave get involuntary layoffs which actually had as good or even a better severance package as the voluntary layoffs. I remember people saying at manager meetings, we don't want a voluntary layoff, we want a voluntary involuntary layoff! Even the good managers were able to have their good senior managers who were retiring do this for them. So many of the good people saw the writing on the wall and were able to leave Boeing with additional money in their pockets.

And I remember manager buzzword too!

Sounds like Boeing management speak. I sure do miss playing Boeing manager buzzword bingo with my engineering colleagues before the great escape. Good times.
