The fee is small and paid upfront. The liigation must have been significant as Eddie sold these stores to the unknowing . 100's have been taken over by the corporation as the owners turned in their keys, until the lease expires. I would venture every week a store or 2 closes .
Hometown stores appears to be dropping like flies. I bet once the franchise fees are paid they're pretty much abandoned.
