Rail Services, RSS/TSS will finally run that yard efficiently. According to Grand Lodge union reps. that will NOT happen in 2022. Local Rail Services is vasily improving and being used across the country. As for the future UP will combine crafts to eliminate double handling, quicker maintenance, less dispatching. The whole process is called the "assembly line" flow. BNSF is benchmarking and facilitating moves working with other rail guru's to make it happen. UP is smart.

UP cares about California. They're moving their headquarters to San Francisco by 2024. The plan is already in motion per request of senior leadership.
Who cares about CA! How do y'all afford to live in such an expensive cost of living state on a railroad salary! Y'all's paychecks would stretch so much further else where. Last time I ever set foot there was 2001. Move while ya can!
