Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Working at Sears now must be a cakewalk

With half of the shelves empty and corporate acting like they don't give a damn if anything gets sold or not, I bet people who work as Sears are having a blast. Yes, they know it's coming to an end but until then they can pick up the pay for a quarter of work they would have to do somewhere else for it. Heck, if there was still an open Sears near me and it was hiring, I'd apply for sure.

Honestly, I feel that it is an honor to work at Sears and help save it from the brink of collapse. I love building connections with my customers and turning them into repeat customers. I love getting the word out about the new Sears. I love being able to do get a well rounded experience while working. It’s not a cakewalk, it’s a passion and a calling!

Sears LP can't even catch a cold at this point.

LP is not needed at Sears since all the merchandise they have is leftover junk. Not even Goodwill wants it.

Thefts are way up since covid, lp is very busy. The only cakewalk would be busting you for time theft in my store.

We wouldn't hire you. Now go back to the basement until your mom calls you for dinner.
