Can't believe these people were not prosecuted and financially destroyed for their action or inaction that needlessly resulted in so much loss of life. And to put salt in the wound, these people made millions of dollars. I almost hope the Chinese take over the world as they know how to deal with these kind of people.

It is plainly sad and certain that the criminally corrupt and mu---rous Boeing leaders paid off the US DOJ department of the last administration to avoid prosecution and then danced off into the sunset themselves with huge payouts. Given this situation, one can't expect anything to change for the better. Not only is Boeing in a steep nose dive, so is the US.

Even without the 737Max fiasco, Boeing's days were already numbered. It has been a long time since they had dedicated and innovative engineering people whom once enabled them to be successful in the past. Boeing is now a company devoid of substance led by clueless people who got their positions via family nepotism.

Everything Boeing has attempted in the last 20 years has been a dismal failure. Airbus and SpaceX have overtaken them and within 10 years COMAC will too. Not much else one can say except wonder what year this decade Boeing will enter bankruptcy and sell off what little that they haven't sold off already.

It's a documentary for historical purposes that documents the findings of the US Congressional Investigation and confirms what is already well known...Boeing no longer has the engineering excellence or leadership ethics to design competitive, safe or quality aerospace products.

This documentary will likely be more interesting to future MBA students as part of a case study of how this company destroyed itself by putting short term profit and executive bonuses ahead of engineering excellence and human life.

And even after this 737Max debacle, nothing has significantly changed at Boeing in a positive way as evidenced by the FAA's total lack of confidence and disallowing 787 and 777X certification.

"Downfall"- also defines my career in aerospace. Watching the MAX story unfold... I'm glad more people outside the industry can see what it's like inside. I do feel time pressure, but I have never been encouraged to push deviations or errors as acceptable. I was naive when I started at Boeing, and I'm not sure where I'll land, but- "Downfall" just scratches the surface of cover ups and lies Mc-Boeing peddled and continued to peddle. Muilenburg got a $62 MILLION dollar parachute out of the company. And corporate American culture will reward any sl-------l who will lie in front of Congress to protect the Company. Definitely profits over people. Hands down. That, I DO see every day.
