Thread regarding Scientific Games Corp. layoffs

Company Rebrand, again!

This company is turning into a f*cking joke... Rebranding every few years.

What abomination of a name will they come up with this time? How much money will this corporate rebrand cost? What a waste of time and money!

Barry Cottle and the Aristocrat Rejects will leave a legacy of utter ridiculousness in their wake. No money to increase wages or buy new equipment, but plenty of money to pi-s up the wall.

Hey Einstein! Debt is being lowered with the sale and costs are being trimmed due to the sale. But yea! Keep thinking the stock will drop. If you're shorting maybe you should buy before earnings and outlook and move on to some meme stock.

I don't think that's quite correct... Scientific Games Corporation owns the names "SG Gaming" and "Scientific Games Lotteries". The Scientific Games Corporation will be changing it's name after divestment.

The Lotteries business does not own the name Scientific Games. It may be sold off as Scientific Games Lotteries, but that is another point all together.

SG Gaming could still be used, but they appear to want to change the name after the divestment. Is it a waste of money? who knows. We can only wait and see as to what will happen.

One this is for sure, the company is over-valued right now. Wait for the share price to probably drop after divestment.

It’s because they sold the lottery business which owned the Scientific Games name. This isn’t a rebrand and name change for no reason. It’s mandatory. So now that you’ve been schooled get your pencil.

You know what name had a boat load of customer loyalty and decades of history...Bally.

But it can't get any worse or more mundane than Scientific Games.
