I'm asking about updated info, something that includes any changes that were made during the pandemic. There are currently rumors going around about more layoffs and I'd like to be prepared in case they turn out to be true, as much as anybody can prepare for something like that.

I am just curious. When you say eng teams have been wiped out, is that because people are fed up and finding other work or are they moving responsibilities to other areas, consolidation, and that sort of thing? For the good men and women trying to make a living there I really do hope they cease with the rank and yank. Good luck to you folks.
Micron has had so much attrition that they can't afford layoffs right now. Entire engineering teams have been wiped out in the past six months and it has nothing to do with the vaccine layoffs - it's simply an employee's economy right now and Micron is facing serious competition on compensation right now. The experience gap is large and threatening quals across the board already. It's so bad there have been high level discussions about reducing the percentage of forced 1s and 2s or straight up axing the performance curve this year.
Yes to put it bluntly Micron has fired employees who will not abide by their vaccine mandate. Then on top of that decline to pay unemployment benefits which the State of Idaho is supporting. If they can’t get rid of enough employees that way, you could be next?
