After more than 2 decades with this company it finally happened! I’m taking the money and running. The senior leadership team is very toxic. PS… that rate and rank cr-p they use is BS, they can choose who they want to get rid of. I’ve seen it done and I’ve done it. So if you were chosen, you either weren’t doing well in your role or more likely you pi---d someone off and they didn’t like you. If you were just given severance, take it as a blessing. There is a life after Verizon. If you choose to stay and look for another role, get prepared to do more with less. Not worth it IMO.
