The company seems to be burning cash for nothing. I've seen a newly hired SE without any network background, salary ~$15k/m, doing nothing for 6 months. Wondering what is the criteria to get recruited for such a good package and do no work.

The person told me there was no work, even though he/she is supposed to support Sales team. The only thing to do is to study for certificate.
How did you determine that networking was part of the job, and that they did nothing?
