Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Updates at one year after layoff

Hi my fellow Baker Hughes ex-coworkers:
It has been over a year since I got laid off. I had struggled initially to find a new job because my oil-field-experience weighted resume was not considered transferable for many other industries. So it was hard to get a mid-level position. And at middle age, it is also hard for me to compete with fresh graduates for junior level jobs. But eventually, one of my friends helped me get a one-year contractor position. Now I just got a full-time offer with 30% pay increase. When bad time hit you, do not give yourself up, talk to friends, keep learning, and trust god will guide you to the right path. Amen!

Baker can get bent. The clowns they got running the show in claremore,ok are a bunch of incapable mo--ns. The monkeys at Tulsa zoo have better organizational skills/leadership qualities than the a-s hat dipshits the got at the pump plant.

Nah. I can attest. It’s the year of the employee. Don’t give BKR the benefit of hiring YOU back. They need you, but others are paying more and treat their employees better

It was all believable until the part about being out of work for over a year and then getting a job with 30% INCREASE in pay.

This fairy tale / whopper would have been more believable if it said.... accepted a job out of desperation with a 30% cut in pay.

Thank you HR shill for this bull shine public service announcement!
