Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Expectations are growing

I assume that most of us here meet our share of unrealistic expectations from this company every day, so there is no need to describe it in detail.

I understand that leadership wants to squeeze employees out as much as possible, but they don’t seem to take into account at all that everyone has their limits, everyone has their breaking points, and ADP isn’t the only company we can work for?

Makes you wonder why they needed to have a fully staffed doctor's office after all on site. Seen my fair share of people wheeled out on stretchers also...smh. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US. We are totally expendable, the layoffs prove it.

Hearing rumbles for people that 3 days a week is not going to work for them. The question is why go back to an office? To be watched all day long, and asked to do more more more? WFH has worked Carlos, and the majority of your staff is willing to give a bit more for the not having to take time from their families to commute and come into an office. However, as Maria indicated the wheel is going faster, and faster and that is the expectation of Xcom.....keep up or get out. If they don't fire you, they will work you until they ki-l you. But remember, Srini loves you. What a load of cr-p they were pushing. I don't know who strokes these peoples egos every day, but what a bunch of BS they were delivering. Another thing Carlos, take a look at gas prices....your 1% did nothing to combat inflation.....BS

When I worked for ADP, one of our department's mottos was "We expect A LOT from our employees". Another was "We are busy BEYOND BELIEF!"

According to ADP, employees should be squeezed as much as possible. As for employee breaking points? They only exist in the minds of lazy employees! So work and meet and exceed those expectations! That's what we hired you for!

And employees leaving for better opportunities? ADP doesn't seem to consider that. They just push and push their employees without regard for that. They do get mad when people leave but they don't seem to learn from this. At least they pretend not to.

ADP is definitely not a good place to work. In the end, most employees will leave one way or the other and will work for other companies earning more money for less work, or retire.

I retired from ADP. I sometimes have nightmares that I am still working there. But then I wake up, see the reality, and go back to sleep with a smile on my face.

Consider this - Layoff rumors for April / May...there is also rumors of severance being reduced.

The fact is that those (including myself) that have stayed has been for a personal reason. Those that have left have gained 20-40+% in compensation and most of them say they are in a better state of mind. ADP only give 6 months MAX severance. You can make that up in less than a year at another company. Stay or Go its a personal choice! If you stay, know that they are looking to get rid of tenured associates. Continue to play the game, like high scores on engagement pulse and all that nonsense. Win as one 1% bonus! hahahahah What a load of cr-p that is!

I know its demoralizing! Don't let any company or person rob you of your spirit! Remember, you do have value (whether you realize it or not)!

I bet there will be a significant exodus with the additional expectation to be back in the office 3 days a week. Its true we can work elsewhere but if youve been working here for a while wouldnt it be worthwhile to wait for a severance before starting over at a new company with only 2 weeks vacation? In the mean time just give the bare minimum. thats all ADP gives us, right? Its only a matter of time before they start cutting heads again in the locations that built the company but are now passe.
