I worked at Verizon for 9+years with multiple roles. Incredible journey (positives and negatives), but it was my time to leave (I resigned) and take control of my future. This company helped me develop and gain skills that ultimately helped me start my new life and career journey. Everyone on this site complaining about commissions, work environment, culture, and leadership within Verizon, stop kvetching and start taking all the advantages/benefits Verizon provides and better yourself. If you want to move to a different role or move up the corporate ladder within Verizon.. what are YOU doing to make that happen? Take ownership of your career.
BUT don't be naive; at the end of the day, me, you & everyone else who works for ANY company are just numbers. It doesn't matter if you work at Apple, Google, Tmo, At&t, Samsung, Tesla etc.. we are all numbers.
All I can say to everyone.. I truly enjoyed my time at Verizon and met some great people (I think the connection I've made at Verizon was the best reward), so empower yourself and TAKE CONTROL of your life/career.
