Thread regarding Raytheon Co. layoffs

Raytheon a target of DoJ probe into hiring practices

Now if the DOJ would just look into their layoff practices.....

Are they done yet with the DOJ and SEC probes at Raytheon Missile systems yet?
Man this company is getting itself into a lot of hot water.

that SA article makes no sense or they never checked with an insider. None of the former RTN divisions ever talk to the former UTC business units, so "three senior executives in Raytheon's missiles division" leaving has nothing to do with contractor labor problems at Pratt. Also it's really old news, the lawsuits were all over the local CT news weeks before this came out, the guy who managed all of the labor contracts with Cyient/Belcan/etc. quit in 2019 before Pratt could fire him. The Feds got involved because RTX is a publicly traded company. Collins is only in the mix now because the WIndsor Locks location uses the same contractor companies.

As many of you know, Raytheon switched 401K administration from Fidelity to a no-name company named Alight. I have been in cash for well over a 14 years because I didn't trust the new administration coming in. Long and short of it is Raytheon was supposed to map my current investments with a comparable fund in Alight. Long and short of it, is I am now down $30,000 in the month since the rollover because they decided to put it in a fund that I did not approve. Has anybody else experienced anything like this. To say I'm pi---d as an understatement. I realize that's not the topic of this thread, but it's the first place I found that doesn't charge you to become part of the retiree core. Any answers are appreciated.

True, until its not. Current DOJ and SEC investigations are proof of that. So, I would then argue that they're 100% in line with laws...until they're not.

"Now if the DOJ would just look into their layoff practices....."

They would find them 100% in line with state laws, unfortunately. Companies spend a lot of money on lawyers to make sure of this one.
