I’ve got a ton of friends spanning all sectors. From talking to them and comparing to Citi, I’ve never heard of such a company as Citi that is so willing to over zealously marginalize BAU efforts.
What I find funny is that “if you don’t make money, then you’re a necessary expenditure. You need to be in a position to make money”. Then the key power players turn around and give away 900$ million to the wrong people which in turn incurs 400$ million in fines.
But yeah, BAU people are the problem, the unnecessary drain on the company, that’s where the problem is.
