Thread regarding Accenture layoffs

Stop complaining!

I can't believe some of the posts here. Accenture is not the best company but it is not the worst either. It's a business that pays you for services rendered. That's it. It's not a family. It's not a real being that can "care" about you and your feelings. Some of you must be new to working and don't know what to expect yet - or at least I hope so! Grow up.

All big professional service firms mess with your head. It's well documented and there are many scholarly research papers on this. The org model uses deep insecurities that we all have, that's why you always feel that you are not good enough and that you are 'in danger' no matter how good you do on your project. You can always be rolled off, you can always be passed for that promo, etc.

It happens every day and in every situation, you are just not aware of hit.

Accidenture basically gives you mental health problems because it purports to do all these great things but instead, do the reverse. It's a well oiled machine of orwellian control, for which you will love the Big Accidenture Brother in the end, when you're broken in.
