Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Why are so many posts deleted?

I’ve seen so many posts over the last several weeks, most of which are very critical. Why are they deleted? Is there some term of service they’re violating?

I can see that BH wants to filter what is shared to the public, but not going to happen when the company has a reputation of F*@king their employees. The workforce does not care if you have to be "media approved" or not; when people get tired of an issue that is not being heard, it will go to the next level. Also, specific individuals delete their own post when someone calls them out on their BS and have no response, too bad we can not upload screen shots to post on here. BH policy's apply at BH, not here! Therefore, if you have a problem, go run to mommy, daddy or your cousin and have them wipe your @ss for you.

You asked and answered your own question. The site is moderated and mods delete anything that is against the TOS. You can read it somewhere in the footer, but it boils down to no politics, racism, off-topic subjects, personal info (names, something easily identifiable), and other stuff like that.

I saw a post that said “Lorenzo is burning it to the ground” and it got deleted. What is that violating?

None of these answers are correct. Doesn't matter who you make mad in management at your company. This site has nothing to do with them. Stick to the site guidelines and your posts don't get deleted. Period.

Deleted most likely because the comments were negative towards the computer jockeys that sit around making meaningless slides all day but do not have a clue how to make BKR any moooooney.

The management do not want "negative" but honest comment to scare the future employees, which are badly needed now to finish some real work. After all, the management's hefty salaries depend on somebody who can get the work done. Some advice for potential employees, do not be fooled key words like, "career", "growth", just think about how to make money for this oil bo-m cycle, which lasts probably 5 years.
