Now that we're being acquired by Frontier, expect to see the redundancy layoffs, restructuring layoffs, optimizing layoffs, and who know what else they're going to call them. While there'll be some cuts at Frontier as well, expect Spirit Airlines employees to take the brunt of it. That's how it usually works with acquisitions. Good luck, we'll all need it.

I worked for a company (not an airline) that was acquired. That's how things went down. I was laid off within a month.
