Does Baker Hughes provide family health insurance or contribute $ towards the monthly amount?
Im soon moving to Houston and I ran an external provider quote for family insurance which came out around 1K per month.
Im just curious what BH provide.

You can health insurance but the insurance company will dictate what you can and cant have or what they will "cover." You will have to get your doctor or doctors office to argue for the approval and it does not help if an individual can be allergic have get treated with a generic brand. So much money is paid in the health system but the health system only help people so much to none until you have to fight with them; it so F*cked and the ones who make it hard for everyone, honestly they deserve to get treated worse than the ones who they make it difficult for people.
BKR has good insurance. UHC personal choice for the win.
With all the complaints and moanings on this site, no one ever mentions the cost of prescriptions.
Pay almost nothing and go out of network with no substantive penalty. Not too shabby.
Just remember the dark lord keeps you in eternal he-l, perpetually. So too does BKR. We grind you slowly...no easy way out. One day you will wake up 5 yrs older, 50 lbs. heavier, heart heaving in bed and think.... was it a 'good' plan, mwahahaa?
No one complain about Baker's health insurance, which is fairly good.
I'm guessing you're moving from a different country? The answer is yes, and the coverage is pretty good. Depending on the plan you get it might be $50-200 / month. You get to pick your exact plan in Benefits Enrollment. It's United Healthcare.
Can you get insurance in case you fxxx up? Aberdeen office shoulda got this instead of closing the whole mess down.
