Thread regarding Western Digital Corp. layoffs

Archaic practices

Young talented people do not want to come here because WD is failing to get rid of archaic, outdated and unnecessary practices. In my opinion, WD is stuck in the past, and leadership is doing nothing to change that. Isn’t it high time for change though?

Crazy how some attitudes have changed in people who have been here for years. People were nice, open, and understanding. Now it’s do what I say or be ready for consequences, cutting corners and complaining about how things turn out, and not only that I’ve seen people treat others as lessers. Very heart breaking to see the 180 degree turn around. At least The job pays well so I try not to complain

yeah, you're not saying "what" is archaic about compensation, leader, benefits, etc.

As provided your comment provides no light into what you really mean.

Perhaps your comment is just meant to blow off steam...

Archaic compensation! Archaic Leaders. Archaic Benefits. Archaic WFH policy.
Archaic buildings..outdated!
Archaic or non-existent systems to work efficiently.

"archaic, outdated and unnecessary practices"

This is sort of an empty calorie comment. Want to provide some examples?
