So the ELT have been commanded to release 25% of ash-trix employees before the merger , which they will happily do.
The whole summer will be one long nightmare.

Lies. That is not true and you know it! Whatever changes happen, happen, but they aren't buying the company to close it down. They are buying it to make more money. Just leave already. There are lots of good and hard working people at Citrix that still want to help make it what it was back in the Mark Templeton days. Will it happen? Most probably no. But there are still people with the mentality of those days. You should just leave if you are not gone yet. No one needs your sorry @zz at Citrix.
There might be some attrition the next couple weeks.

No one here knows how many people will be laid off. Most are just spreading FUD

The severance is going to be a pittance and will not be even worth looking at. The same way RSUs were doled out in peanuts.
