I feel like we should have some sort of events to appreciate the employees. I’ve been invited to other company appreciation events within the last couple months and it has me wondering why are we not having anything especially now that we have to come in 3 days a week?

Those days are gone, Goeckeler and his cronies he brought with him give 2 sh*ts about employees. He is unapproachable, doesn’t like to be a collaborator and wants to be revered. Failure as a CEo
Great suggestion. This seems like the perfect forum for these types of comments. We should also have pajama days so we can pretend we are still working from home.
the appreciation is us being there
There are no appreciation days, because you are not valued as an employee.
Agree with other comment. Goeckler thinks you should appreciate having a job. He is a clueless, tone deaf leader. The whole Cisco mafia is trying to connect. Dismal failures. The last all hands with new hr leader and strategic communication id--t leader was an embarrassment!
A nice idea for WD. We are served wine on Thursday afternoon together with some food as appreciation. Thursday=Wineday. I left WD a few months ago and was surprised to see this at another company (competitor). But it is really nice idea as one meets people. And people really just drink a bit. The bonus at WD was great, but I like my few drops of wine.
Goeckenspiel commands you to be appreciative that you still have a job. Get to work.
There will be a Goeckeler appreciation day this year in appreciation of our fearless leader.
