What else can be said about leadership that creates a job that will be gone in a year? I cannot believe that such a thing can be done by competent people who have a vision and want to make changes for the better here.

I’ve heard of job openings where the position got axed before they even hired for it. Like corporate, salary, company car, stock holder positions. Heard they didn’t calculate the costs before posting the job and interviewing. Oh and they didn’t even reach out to the applicants to let them know. It’s almost sad sometimes how bad they make themselves look.
I was hired 1.5 years ago to a newly created position. Reorged 1 year later (old position completely eliminated). Then 6 months later (ie now) laid off. It’s asinine
Some that were let go were only hired for a few of weeks…
