I just noticed that the March 23rd am question/comment regarding something along the line of "Were More Conservatives Laid-Off During the Covid-19 Disney Lay-Offs?" deleted from this website.
WHY?????? I was hoping that this could be a neutral website. Can't there at least be a discussion of who was laid-off in 202 and possibly why? But, no, clearly, "woke rules" and Disney monitors this website as well. No fair discussions or differing of opinions allowed at Disney or on this website.
I am not sure if I am getting this correctly, but what mentioning "conservatives" has anything to do with layoffs? Venting personal views on politics in a public forum about work, the workforce, the corporate world, and layoffs will wake up all those people with conspiracy theories about everything.
How does a company know whether someone is a conservative, a liberal, in between, or what? It is just plain stupid; companies don't ask what our political preferences are.
I am no longer at Disney, and I am not a conservative.
Shouldn’t matter! All lay-off related comments should be allowed. Censorship in a free country should be illegal.
Those three issues are all facts, the conservative-driven layoffs are just speculation.
The g-y bill, the C vs I, and the Russia comments are all polotocallly-related. Umm… they have not been deleted.
Perhaps that is what happened. Still, if lay-offs focused on “conservatives” being let-go for that reason first (and not the whole of the cast members considered for lay-offs) then it is a huge lay-off issue. Is that not what this site is about?
The post broke the site's rules which include no politics. Not the first nor the last post to be deleted for that reason, I'm sure.
