Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Political wars and backstabbing coworkers

I have to give it to this management, they've certainly managed to do one thing. They created such a toxic and political environment that pushes some of the employees to trip others up to help themselves. Not to mention, we also now have territorial coworkers who are limiting the collaboration, just to round out the already fu---d up picture. Good going, guys. This is definitely going to raise productivity. Total success. /s

TDC not only allows bad behavior, but keeps the abusers and lays off the good ones. We've seen it happen for years, CT hopefully you're next.

This OP hit the nail on the head. I worked with a guy who threw everyone, even his own teammates, under the bus, made a very loyal agency look bad, had many HR complaints against him but he's still there. I'm glad I escaped, sounds like things haven't changed.

The culture of any organization is shaped by the worst behavior the leader is willing to tolerate. Our leadership not only tolerates such behavior but exhibits it.

Et Tu Chapper’s and HA.

It is a game some are very good at. HR and Management love the bu## kissing and keep them on regardless of skill set.

Politics is a game played by the emotionally insecure and intellectually weak.

I worked with some great people at TD. The ones that were great coworkers and awesome team players have all left. The ones that would sell their own mom for a chance to get ahead are the ones left. They pass the blame for their own failures on to the team players and management buys into it. It’s funny though, the folks they blamed for things going wrong are all gone and the same sh-t is still going wrong

Tell me you've never worked a corporate job before... without saying it. I mean... this is about par for the course.
