Ricoh is stuck in the past. It still clings to the way things used to be done 'back in the day' and makes no attempts to keep up with the times. Micromanaging is still a favorite strategy, and everybody is more concerned with corporate politics than things that could actually help us improve. The worst thing is, the company is more than willing to squeeze energy and sanity out of us because that's cheaper than hiring more people to help us deal with the workload.

Couldn’t agree more. Politics, micromanagement “mentors” and operational philosophies as outdated as its products. Toxic culture a stark contrast to the public relations puff pieces about how Ricoh is so great. Anything Ricoh says they’re amazing at is total opposite. Everybody here scratches their head when they see an over the top 5 star positive review! Complete nonsense. I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing someone might sign on here based a “unique perspective” review. If, as I suspect some are, you’re writing a false positive review of this 20th century dumpster fire in exchange for X, you are self serving pond sc-m.
