Thread regarding Emerson Electric Co. layoffs

Offering support for Ukraine while not shutting down operations in Russia is classic Emerson

Classic talking out of both sides of the mouth and positioning it by talking to the press to present “the Emerson narrative”

If there was ever good timing for an activist to come in, Lal just opened the door to it.

Emerson is disgraceful and disgusting and has no morals. They should not do business in Russia if do they traders and no one should buy or support traders.

A resolution to this scenario will not happen anytime soon. The company needs to stop doing business in Russia. There is no amount of profit that should support this effort in any shape or form. An exit strategy should be in place. Shareholders need to step up and take action if the company will not.

Emerson has never volunteered to do the right thing… unless it padded the bottom line.

I might add… I do get the bigger picture here however… I just don’t wish it on them. Just my opinion.

Well I know of a lot of good people in Russia who I worked with during my Emerson tenure. I know they don’t support the war in Ukraine and I would not want to see them out of a job.
