Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

Harris Job offers-

Well it has been 14 business days since we were notified about the sell to Harris. Everyone was to be notified within 10-14 days. Curious if anyone has received an offer yet?

Read the notice again. It says you'll know within 10-14 days if you are moving to Harris [I'd be suprised if you dont know already. Your manager should have told you].

They did not communicate job offers being received during that time. They said Job Offers from Harris will be sent to affected associates after they file for regulatory approval.

That could mean another month or so.

'What kind of position do you have to get such a great offer?'

Double entendre one would presume? LOL

There were no such payments made. Be gone trolls!

Not everyone, but as far as I know, 2/3 of team members got it. Some got even more, about 140%.

They are just going to give everyone a free year of salary for staying? That seems a little extreme. They are buying dying products.

As part of EIS acquisition, all of the coworkers in my team got an offer. Our VP called me to sign and accept the offer. He told me if I did not sign by the deadline, Allscripts will change my employment status to resigned. And I will lose my retention bonus. It is very hard to let one year salary go so I stayed. Did they give retention bonus this time? It will be a nice gift to get your pay doubled.

I think they meant 14 days in base 10, not octal. (In other words, It’s only been 12 business days.)

I wouldn’t hold my breath though.None of us that were part of the EIS sale in 2017, that I’m aware of, ever got the Allscripts offer letter that was promised… so no worries. So far, this is going about the same. They’re making it up as they go.

Either of those would be a step up for many current employees.

There is a simple answer to this.
They said everyone would receive a job offer, but they didn't say it would the same job.
Apparently, they are trying to decide how many people will get offers to move into Janitorial and Food Service roles for their other companies.....
