As long as there are enough of us who will work and give our best, despite the fact that people in much smaller companies often have better benefits than we do, nothing will change here. It saddens me terribly to hear that smaller companies value their employees more than we are valued here. Only when people realize that there are much better options out there and start leaving in even greater numbers, then maybe something changes here.

It's true. I left for a much smaller company months ago and am thrilled to be paying less for better health insurance. The 401K matching is better as well. You just have to believe in yourself and look. UHG isn't going to change unless a mass exodus forces them to.
