I can’t blame UP, applying here was my own decision. Moreover, at that moment I was happy just to get a job. However, from this perspective, it would be better that I never got a job here. Now that my health is ruined, I definitely lost more than I gained, just like most people here I guess?

Try some decaf coffee or green tea.
Just had some coffee with friends, and now I feel worse since I don’t like my friends and I don’t like coffee. Thanks a lot Beth.
Reducing or getting out of debt is a good thing to do , great way to get rid of a lot of financial stress. Then easier to look for another job. Look at Dave Ramsey. Com for ideas on lower your $ debt.
But wait, you can’t leave! UP was just voted one of the most admired companies!
I just paid off credit card my wife and I traded in our expensive cars and we both are now driving modest vehicles with our house being our only debt at this point. With my wife’s income and all of the job opportunities in my area I’m beginning my new career search with lots of opportunities available outside this RR . I’m outta here can’t wait! I was going to quit and I was advised to get fired for attendance soooo I guess that’s the plan. Good luck guys!

Employees stay because it’s like a cult. The company beats its employees down to the point where they don’t have confidence or believe in themselves anymore. When stuck in this type of toxic environment, employees are coerced into believing they can’t do any better and there is no life outside of UP. IMO, 80% of leaving is getting there mentally and rebuilding yourself up to believe you can do it. Been there and leaving was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. I’m only sorry I put my family through h*ll while I worked on myself to get out. Horrible, horrible place I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
I heard you like to blow your friend that works at UP. Why is that? Interesting.
I don’t work at UP, but have a friend that does. If it’s so bad there, why does anyone still work there? Reading these threads, it’s apparent everyone posting hates the company and mostly their jobs, and in some cases their coworkers. With so many companies begging for workers, why not just take another job and be happy?
Not really. people applying to UP in 2022 are already fked at life.
