Not that I hadn’t seen it coming, but my position was finally axed. I was just about to explode in excitement that the day had finally arrived. I was prepared, since I have been shocked to make it through numerous cuts.
Then the kick in the teeth, we have a different position for you. Same title, different duties, and even more bu-----t. I was looking forward to a small severance and a few weeks to decompress. Let the countdown to the next reorganization begin!
It's called US propaganda--they use BS terms like-family, we're a team, etc..etc..NO we are NOT. We do not get paid like a prof athelete. Also, none of these corporate simps are family. The boss girl would fire us in a second if it could save herself or the company a few bucks. ONLY look out for yourself in this corrupt sinking ship sometimes called a "country"
This just happened to me as well. Didn't see it coming. All that talk from the company about how they care for the well being of the employees is all smoke and mirrors.
It’s just their last eat way to drive people out! That’s what they hope have you leave before they have to give you a package. If it’s small then just leave it’s not worth it.
So you would think that they can't just move you around.... If you were hired and signed documents to work a specific job and it's gone how can THEY decide your career path.... I call BS!

My position was also eliminated. Sent offshore, and they want us to train the offshore people who are taking our jobs.
The best part of being a USian is when they fire lotsa of employees, then keep a few lackeys, pay them 1/3 less, and then add on more responsibilities. usa, usa!
Well at least you can keep looking for another position knowing that your days at United are still very much numbered.
